Megator manufactures a range of oil skimmers designed to remove pollutants and nuisance media from the surface of calm or sheltered waters and shore line areas. Ideal for emergency oil spill clean up situations.

Floating Weir Oil Skimmers
Floating weir oil skimmers float on the surface of water where the highest concentration of oil is located. Floating weir oil skimmers consist of a number of floats and a central intake weir. The height of the intake weir is adjustable, allowing the oil skimmer to efficiently remove thin or thick layers of oil or pollutant.
Floating weir oil skimmers are suitable for permanent installation or emergency oil spill response situations, due to their light weight, ease of transportation and one person operation.
Floating weir oil skimmers are suitable for use with a self priming pump or a gravity feed application.
Hand Held Oil Skimmers
Hand held oil skimmers are used to recover oil and pollutants where access is severely restricted, such as drains, manholes and sumps. Hand held oil skimmers are lightweight and are ideal for emergency response oil spill situations.
Hand held oil skimmers are suitable for use with a self priming pump.

Alpha Oil Skimmer
The Megator Alpha Skimmer is one of the most versatile weir skimmers available. Made entirely from tough, corrosion resistant stainless steel, the Alpha Skimmer can deal with a variety of aggressive liquids at varying depths and concentrations.

Options

- Guide rails – Secures the skimmer in the desired area, yet allows it to rise and fall with the water level.
- Telescopic weir adjustment handle – Raise and lower the skimmer to in-accessible areas and adjust the weir height to the desired level.

Designed to deal with small oil spills in calm or sheltered waters where easily portable equipment is required, the Megator Sigma skimmer is constructed from tough glass-reinforced plastics highly resistant to corrosion and chemical attack.
The Sigma Skimmer has three fixed special profile floats designed to direct a controlled flow to the circular intake weir. The weir is provided with a simple, central height adjustment enabling the skimmer to be set for optimum efficiency with varying depths of surface oil or effluent.

Hand Held Skimmers
Beta Skimmer
Designed to deal with small oil spills where easily portable equipment is required, the Megator Beta skimmer is a lightweight hand held skimmer designed to remove oil and pollutants from sumps, drains and other applications where space is severely restricted.
The Beta skimmer consists of a 2 m long (2 x 1m) suction pipe fitted with a weir head, complete with 30 cm diameter weir fitted with a closed cell foam float chamber.
Puddle Skimmer
Designed to deal with small oil spills where easily portable equipment is required, the Megator Puddle skimmer is a lightweight hand held skimmer designed to remove oil and pollutants from puddles, sumps, drains and other applications where space is severely restricted.
The Puddle skimmer consists of a 2 m long (2 x 1m) suction pipe fitted with a weir plate.
The Puddle skimmer virtually enables the user to remove the last drop of oil or pollutant from the affected area.

Shore Skimmer
The Megator Shore skimmer is a quick and effective bucket skimmer for removing oil and other pollutants from coastal and shoreline areas. The weir is automatically adjusted by altering the speed of the pump. The pump speed is slowed for dealing with thin layers of oil and increased when dealing with thicker layers.
